Here is a problem while opening the Encarta reference library and dictionary on my computer. There is always a dialogue box that's opening and asking to locate the Edict.exe, but this is not found in my system. Can any one please help me out from this problem?

This means that when you've installed Encarta, the dictionary was missed from installation. The file refers to the dictionary module available in the Encarta application. Sadly, the Encarta has been discontinued by Microsoft. If you still have the CD of the application, install it but this time check the Complete box when it asks (Custom, Typical, Complete) and the Edict.exe should be available in your system.

You can't update Encarta 2006 anymore because Microsoft discontinued this product on 10 January 2010.
